Pictorial Quilting
We’ll create a simplified scene based on a photo. We
will use fusible applique and add unusual materials such
as cheesecloth, wool roing, angelina fibers, sheers, and
more to create the effects of moving water, rushing
lava, sea waves, steam, fog, etc. Students will have line
drawings to choose from or I will help them create their own from a

photo they bring we will embellish with markers, thread, yarn, lace, etc.
and will do some needle felting on their piece as well. We will free motion quilt the scene to finish.
